Angara restores flights between Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk and Kazan

Starting from March 4, 2015, Angara Airlines, a partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, extends its Irkutsk – Novosibirsk flight up to Chelyabinsk and Kazan. The flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Fridays on a new short-haul An-148 aircraft in 75 seats configuration.

 

Flight from Novosibirsk to Chelyabinsk and Kazan departs at 11:35 (08:40 starting from April 1, 2015), arrival time of the return flight is 20:05 (19:15 from April 1).



It should be noted that Angara Airlines restores air services from Novosibirsk to Chelyabinsk and Kazan, which was operated by Ak Bars Aero until January 2015. Since the beginning of 2015 Angara Airlines also operates direct flight from Novosibirsk to Ufa.

 

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.

 

Angara Airlines belongs to one of the major regional air carriers in East Siberia which provides regular passenger flights within the Irkutsk region and the Siberian Federal District as well as operates charter flights in the whole territory of Russia. The company was established in 2000, it is a member of Eastland group of companies. The airline’s fleet comprises five An-148, seven An-24, three An-26-100, two An-2 aircraft and eleven Mi-8 helicopters of various modifications.
