To the Far East on the subsidized flights

The partner-airlines of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport receive an opportunity to take part in the state air transportation subsidy programme applicable to the carriers performing flights from Novosibirsk to the Far East regions.

 


The support programme is being realized in accordance with RF Government Regulation No. 1095 of December 29, 2009 on “Approval of the Rules for Subsidies Granting to the Air Carriers in order to Ensure Affordability of Passenger Air Service from the Far East Regions to the European Part of Russia and Back”. In 2014 the initiative was extended with three more departure points of the Far Eastern Federal District (Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Yakutsk).

 

The special subsidized tariffs on the routes from Novosibirsk to the specified cities are effective from 15th May till 31st October 2014. The subsidies are granted to RF citizens regardless of place of their residence, who are under 23 years on the departure date as well as women over 55 years, men over 60 years and disabled persons of Group I of any age and their attendants, people accompanying disabled children.

 

The subsidized one way rate on the route Novosibirsk – Vladivostok – Novosibirsk totals 5,900 RUB. The Novosibirsk airport flight schedule comprises over 10 weekly departures on this route.

 

The one way tariff on the route Novosibirsk – Khabarovsk – Novosibirsk makes up 5,700 RUB allowing for subsidies. Flights are operated 14 times per week.

 

The subsidized one way tariff on the route Novosibirsk – Yakutsk – Novosibirsk totals 5,500 RUB. Flights are operated 9 times per week.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The domestic terminal capacity makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the capacity on international flights – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled. In 2014 the airport expects to serve over 4.2 mln passengers and handle over 32 thousand tons of cargo and mail.
