Regional Air Service. Results of 2018
In 2018, passenger traffic of Tolmachevo airport on regional routes amounted to 986,806, exceeding the figures of 2017 by 39%. In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 25 December 2013, No. 1242, flights to 11 destinations were operated under the state subsidy program: Noyabrsk, Severo-Yeniseisk, Strezhevoy, Khanty-Mansiysk, Beloyarsky, Kogalym, Nadym, Tomsk, Gorno-Altaisk, Kargasok, Abakan. The number of the passengers serviced on these routes amounted to 55,110.

It's worth noting that Beloyarsky, Kogalym, Nadym and Kargasok became the new routes of 2018 opened under the Decree No. 1242.

Outside the state support program for regional air service the number of flights on existing routes to Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarks, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Ulan Ude, Chita was increased in 2018. S7 Airlines has also opened flights to Samara, Kazan, and Bratsk.
This year the list of subsidized regional routes includes 19 regional destinations from Novosibirsk: to Beloyarsky, Gorno-Altaisk, Kargasok, Kogalym, Kyzyl, Nadym, Nizhnevartovsk, Novokuznetsk, Novy Urengoy, Noyabrsk, Perm, Severo-Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk, Surgut, Tomsk, Ulan Ude, Ust Kut, Irkutsk, Ufa and Khanty-Mansiysk. Flights to these destinations will be operated by S7 Airlines, NordStar, Utair, Sila and Rusline. Ust Kut and Novokuznetsk will become new regular destinations of the Novosibirsk airport regional route network.

"The state support program for air service with the active participation of federal authorities, Government of the Novosibirsk Region and S7 Airlines airline company, a base carrier of the airport, will allow further efficient development of Tolmachevo airport as a connection hub for passengers on routes between the cities of the South of Russia, Siberia, Far East, CIS, and other countries", pointed out General Director of JSC "Airport Tolmachevo" — Evgeniy Yankilevich.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub east of the Urals on the main air routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, and international terminal capacity is 1,300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II categories.
