Cargo Traffic of Tolmachevo Airport Exceeded 25,000 Tons
Over 10 months of 2018 the cargo traffic of Tolmachevo airport increased by 9.3% compared to the figure of 2017 and was 25,439 tons, including 2,748 tons of cargo and mail (+2.8%) in October.

Since the beginning of the year the airport handled 24,548 aircraft movements (+18.7% to the same period last year), in October it served 2,566 aircraft movements (+16.0%).
From January to October Tolmachevo airport served 4,981,079 passengers (+19.2%). The number of passengers on domestic air routes amounted to 3,617,055 (+21.4%), that on international ones was 1,364,024 (+13.8%).
In October passenger traffic of Tolmachevo airport amounted to 509,515 people, an increase of +19.8% compared to the figure of 2017. 373,527 passengers (+20.2%) were served on domestic flights and 135,988 passengers (+18.6%) were served on international ones.

Following the results of ten months the number of transfer passengers increased by 35% compared with the same period last year. Their share in total passenger traffic was 23%.
Chelyabinsk (+225.0%), Strezhevoy (+140.6%), Omsk (+140.2%), Blagoveshchensk (+92.3%), Ufa (+87.3%) became the most dynamic destinations in October on domestic routes compared with the same period last year. Phu Quoc (+595.3%), Bangkok (+326.4%), Hong Kong (+164.9%), Prague (+134.2%), Phuket (+113.4%) became the most dynamic destinations on international routes. Meanwhile, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Antalya, Bangkok, Beijing, Bishkek, Osh and Almaty became the most popular destinations among passengers in October.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub east of the Urals on the main air routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, and international terminal capacity is 1,300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II categories.
