“S7 Airlines continues actively developing the transfer project in cooperation with Tolmachevo Airport, which has been before aimed at establishing the geographically logic connections between the cities of Far East, South-Eastern Asia and China with the European part and south cities of Russia, countries of Europe, Middle East, CIS, —said Natalya Mzhelskaya. — Owing to diversification of the aircraft fleet and delivery of regional aircraft Embraer 170 at the beginning of 2017, S7 Airlines opened the flight program from Novosibirsk on regional routes, providing convenient connections of the regional network with medium-range domestic and international routes”.

“Use of Boeing 737 MAX will expand the horizons for planning of S7 Airlines route network in Tolmachevo Airport and will enable to open new demanded routes and to use in more extent the transfer capabilities of S7 Airlines route network in the Airport” — added Natalya Mzhelskaya.

“The route network for Boeing 737 MAX will be developed based on its main advantage — fuel efficiency. In the today market, when cost of jet fuel is hiogh, it is very important feature. Such routes include the cities of Far East, where cost of jet fuel is higher than the average industry values. While increased flight range offers the new challenges for developing the route network from Novosibirsk. For example, in the second half of December, S7 Airlines will start flight to Vietnam”, — said Grigoriy Davydov, S7 Group Deputy General Director on Strategy.
