Novosibirsk Airport Introduces Summer Flight Schedule
Beginning March 25, Tolmachevo Airport will operate its summer schedule with the opening of new flights, resumption of seasonal routes, and an increase in flight frequency on a number of routes. In the summer season, the Novosibirsk airport will serve 90 destinations. The new schedule will last until October 27.
During the summer season of 2018, the frequency of flights from Novosibirsk to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Surgut, Norilsk, Novy Urengoy, Ulan-Ude, Omsk, Abakan, Kyzyl, Talakan, and Khanty-Mansiysk will increase, and flights to Mineralnye Vody, Perm, Ufa, and other areas will continue. As is Traditional in summer, the frequency of flights to the south of Russia will increase: to Simferopol, Rostov-on-Don, Anapa and Sochi. At the peak dates of the season, flights of Rossiya on the Novosibirsk-Sochi route will be serviced by Boeing 747 aircraft. The new flight of the summer schedule will be Samara, and the seasonal flight to Bratsk will resume.

On existing routes, such airlines as Yamal, Nordwind Airlines, Pobeda, Alrosa, NordStar, Red Wings, Aeroflot, Avia Traffic Company will increase their number of flights.
As for domestic routes, special attention should be paid to the program of regional air service development of S7 Airlines, a partner of Tolmachevo airport. Its peculiarity is the active use of Novosibirsk Airport as a transfer hub on routes between the cities of southern Russia, Siberia, CIS and the Far East, as well as the planning of flights on Embraer 170 aircraft, a new airline type for the airline. As part of this program, S7 Airlines will continue flights to Omsk, Ekaterinburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, Abakan, Chelyabinsk, Noyabrsk, Tyumen and Novy Urengoy and will open flights to Tomsk, Gorno-Altaisk, Krasnoyarsk, Bratsk, Kyzyl, Nadym, Kogalym, Beloyarsky and Neryungri. A part of flights will be operated under the state support program for air service in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 25 December 2013, No. 1242.
The state support program for regional air service will extend to nine destinations operated from Tolmachevo airport – Kyzyl, Noyabrsk, Tomsk, Severo-Yeniseysk, Strezhevoy, Khanty-Mansiysk, Beloyarsky, Kogalym, and Nadym. The Government of the Novosibirsk Region will co-finance flights to Beloyarsky, Kyzyl, Nadym, and Noyabrsk. Beloyarsky, Kogalym, and Nadym will appear in the airport's route network for the first time in a long period.
Support for air service for special categories of passengers from the cities of the Far East to air hubs of the Russian Federation will continue as part of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 29 December 2009, No. 1095. The support program will be in effect from 1 April to 31 October. The list of subsidized destinations for Tolmachevo airport includes such cities as Yakutsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Chita, Mirny, Polarny, Magadan, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
A special support program for air service to Crimea by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 29 April 2014, No. 388 will also operate for special categories of passengers. This program will be in effect from 1 June to 30 November.

With the onset of the spring-summer period Tolmachevo Airport will continue to serve more than 15 destinations in the CIS countries. Flights of partner airlines will be performed to Astana, Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Dushanbe, Khujand, Namangan, Karaganda, Yerevan, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Fergana, and other cities. The airport plans to increase the frequency of flights to Almaty, Baku, Tashkent, Bishkek, and Osh. Since May 2, S7 Airlines has launched flights to the capital of the Republic of Belarus - Minsk. The airline also opens the Novosibirsk-Pavlodar flight beginning May 30 and on June 21 resumes a seasonal direct flight to Tamchy (Issyk-Kul). Flights to Pavlodar and Tamchy will be carried out by Embraer 170 aircraft.
New destinations on international flights in the summer include scheduled flights to Tokyo (beginning June 2) and Larnaca (beginning May 1). Flights will continue to Tbilisi, Prague, Frankfurt, Shanghai, and Dusseldorf. In the summer schedule, a large program for the performance of charter flights to Antalya is planned. For the first time, Russia Airlines will operate flights on this route on Boeing 747 aircraft. Seasonal charter flights to Larnaca, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, and Southeast Asia (Nha Trang, Fukuok, Sanya, Phuket, Utapao, and Bangkok) will continue. The new charter destinations will be Dalaman and Hammamet.

"Novosibirsk airport is successfully implementing the development project as the largest Russian airborne transfer hub," said Evgeny Yankilevich, general director of Airport Tolmachevo. "At present Tolmachevo airport together with partner airlines provides more than 1200 combinations of transfer connections used by passengers".
Tolmachevo airport is currently preparing for the spring-summer period (SS). Preparation for the SS will be completed by 30 April. Airport, and third-party airport staff receive special technical training and additional briefings, including those on occupational health and safety, aviation safety, flight safety, and first aid. Special purpose vehicles, mechanical means and ground equipment, various enterprise systems, as well as airport infrastructure ensuring operational processes and functioning of the enterprise, are continuing to be prepared. The airfield service staff of Tolmachevo airport is renovating the marking of the airfield with artificial coatings by the beginning of the spring-summer period. Beginning 1 April, airport staff will start to actively monitor the ornithological situation on the airfield as part of ornithological safety of flights.
