Angara airlines commenced operation of Novosibirsk – Bratsk flights
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport provided ground handling for the first Angara flight on the route Bratsk — Novosibirsk — Bratsk. February 3, 2014, Flight IK791 arrived in Novosibirsk from Bratsk at 11:40 p.m. with 13 passengers onboard. Following all ground handling operations, An-148 departed for Bratsk on February 4th at 01:25 a.m. with 8 passengers onboard.
Launch of the flight became possible due to the state subsidy programme stimulating extension of the regional flight network. In accordance with RF Government Regulation No.1242 dated December 25, 2013, Novosibirsk — Bratsk route was included into the official list of the destinations subsidized.
During Autumn-Winter 2014 flight programme, the return flight on the route Novosibirsk — Bratsk will be operated twice per week: each Monday and Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. from Bratsk, each Tuesday and Thursday at 01:25 a.m. from Novosibirsk (local time applies). During Summer 2014 traffic programme, it is expected to add frequencies on this route.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity — up to 750 passengers per hour.
