Tolmachevo Airport Has Served 3 Millionth Passenger
On August 17, Tolmachevo airport served its three-millionth passenger from the beginning of the year. It was a citizen of Yarovoye town in Altay Kray Darya Zolova. She was departing from Novosibirsk to Moscow on the Flight SU 1307 by Aeroflot and further going on holiday to the Crimea.
Head of Novosibirsk office of Aeroflot Alexander Yushkov thanked Darya Zolova for choosing the airline, wished her new interesting travels and presented her a keepsake. To thank the passenger, Aeroflot raised the level of service to business class. Tolmachevo airport congratulated the anniversary passenger and presented her a bunch of flowers and a certificate for the services in the business lounge.
It is worth noting that a three-millionth passenger was served at Tolmachevo airport five weeks earlier, compared to the previous year. In 2016, the airport served a three-millionth passenger on September 23.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.
