Tolmachevo Airport Hosted a Three Millionth Passenger of the Mineralnye Vody Airport
June 29, 2017, NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport airport hosted a three millionth passenger of the Mineralnye Vody Airport for this year.
That passenger became a resident of Tomsk Yulia Skurlatova, who was returning with S7 Airlines flight with her daughter after a holiday in sanatorium. Tolmachevo airport staff congratulated the passenger and presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
Flights from Novosibirsk to Mineralnye Vody have been operated by the base carrier of Tolmachevo airport S7 Airlines since the beginning of June 2016. In the summer schedule of 2017 the flights frequency has been increased to three flights per week. This route is quite popular among the residents of the Novosibirsk region and neighboring regions of Siberia. The flight provides the passengers of Tolmachevo airport with the opportunity to comfortably reach the resorts of Caucasus Mineralnye Vody.
It's worth noting, that the millionth passenger of the Mineralnye Vody Airport departed with the flight that connects two major airports of Novaport holding.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.
