A 319 bases at Tolmachevo
One of the six Airbuses 319 of S7 Airlines will be based at Tolmachevo airport in order to fly from Novosibirsk. Aircraft A319 will replace Tu-154 on S7 flights to Saint-Petersburg, Beijing, Baku, Yerevan and Tashkent. Before S7 used A319 only on their flights from Moscow. Further S7 plans to expand the routes geography from Novosibirsk using this type of aircraft.
A 319 is a medium-range aircraft, manufactured by the European consortium Airbus Industrie, it has a spacious and comfortable two-class cabin layout designed for 120 passengers in economy class and 8 in business class. The A319, along with the A318, A320 and A321, belongs to the Airbus A320 family of modern narrow-body aircraft.
A 319 flying S7 Airlines' routes are equipped with CFM56-5 engines made by CFM International. All the aircraft were built in 1999-2000 and according to the S7's new image hey are painted bright green.
According to the results of numerous independent surveys, passengers have taken to heart the spacious and comfortable cabins of the aircraft in the A320 family, which are fitted with wider seats, while carriers and investors strongly prefer these airliners for their modern construction and attractive cost-effectiveness.
