Results of Summer Program on Subsidized Destinations
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport summarized the results of implementation of summer flights program on subsidized routes.

Since the summer program started NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport handled more than 122 thousand passengers on flights from Novosibirsk to Simferopol and back, which is more than 20% higher than passenger traffic indices on the same route compared to the same period of 2015. By the results of April-September Novosibirsk-Simferopol destination ranked third in terms of passenger traffic volume on domestic routes. Regular flights to Simferopol in summer were serviced by Globus, Rossiya Airlines, Alrosa Airlines and IKAR (Pegas Fly) airlines. Overall frequency of flights to the capital of Crimea during the summer months reached 22 flights per week.
Regulation of the Government of the Russian Federation RF # 362 on subsidies for air service to Republic of Crimea and back was signed on 27 April, 2016. Subsidy program will be in effect until 30 November, 2016. Globus Airlines will continue flights to Simferopol in winter with the two times a week frequency.
By the results of April-September 2016 Tolmachevo airport serviced 38.5 thousand passengers on subsidized domestic routes (length of the route is up to 1200 km) within the framework of the Regulation of the Government of the Russian Federation RF # 1242 dated 25 December 2013.

Currently Gorno-Altaisk, Kyzyl, Abakan, Noyabrsk, Tyumen, Talakan destinations and since 20 September a new Baikit destination from Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport are subsidized. Flights to subsidized local destinations are performed by KrasAvia, NordStar, Rusline, Pioneer and Utair airlines.
The number of subsidized destinations from Novosibirsk within the framework of the Regulation of the Government of the Russian Federation RF # 1095 dated 29 October 2009 "On the approval of rules for air carriers subsidizing to ensure the affordability of air-passenger operations from Far East to European part of the country and back" has grown from 3 to 8 from April to September 2016. In addition to Yakutsk, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok flights of certain categories of citizens to Mirny, Chita, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan and Polyarny are subsidized. From April to September 2016 passenger traffic on subsidized routes amounted to more than 332.8 thousand people (+27%).

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport successfully develops its transfer potential effectively using the possibility of combining several programs of state support for air service. Passengers of backbone airlines, who follow from the cities of Far East with a transfer in Tolmachevo airport grant access to the extensive route network of regional airlines.
"Maintenance of positive dynamics of passenger traffic development is indicative of high efficiency of existing air service subsidy programs", notes General Director of JSC Airport Tolmachevo Evgeniy Yankilevich.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.
