Terminal Map of Tolmachevo Airport in the Mobile Version of 2GIS

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport became the first Russian airport, which terminal maps are indicated in the mobile version of 2GIS app. Passengers and guests of the airport are now able to navigate inside the terminal complex using their smartphones and tablets.

Earlier 2GIS started helping visitors to navigate inside the shopping malls. Since the spring of 2014 the company has added more than 200 floor maps of shopping malls in Russia and in several cities abroad (Dubai, Prague and Santiago) in its app.

2GIS experts created a precise map of the terminals and put all the useful facilities for passengers on it from ATMs, coffee shops and DUTY free stores to points of baggage packing, passport control areas and airport gates. To identify objects the developers have tried to create maximally understandable icons.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2014 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.9mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 28.6 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.
