To Tomsk with NordStar Airlines

August 14, 2015, NordStar Airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, commences direct scheduled flight operations on Novosibirsk – Tomsk – Novosibirsk route. Flights will be operated two times per week on Wednesdays and Fridays on ATR-42-500 aircraft in 46 seats configuration.


Flight 37 departs from Novosibirsk at 18:20 arriving in Tomsk at 19:15, return Flight 38 departs from Tomsk at 19:55 arriving in Novosibirsk at 20:50. Local time applies.




NordStar Airlines flights between Novosibirsk and Tomsk will be operated under the state subsidy program for regional routes as well as already operated flights to Omsk, Strezhevoy and Kyzyl.


NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2014 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.9mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 28.6 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.


NordStar Airlines (OJSC Taimyr Air Company) belongs to MMC Norilsk Nickel and based at Domodedovo airport (Moscow) and Emelyanovo airport (Krasnoyarsk). Route network of the airline includes 35 cities such as Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Sochi and others. The airlines has wide regional route network within Krasnoyarsk region and also operates international flights to Beijing, Khujand, Yerevan, Dushanbe and Baku. The airline’s fleet comprises nine Boeing 737-800, 1 Boeing 737-300 and five ATR 42-500 aircraft.
