New summer flights by S7 Airlines
S7 Airlines, the base airline at NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, with the onset of the summer season introduces a number of new flights from Novosibirsk.
New domestic routes include flights to Surgut, Ufa, Samara, Blagoveshchensk and Mirniy.
Starting from April 28, 2015, flights on Novosibirsk - Surgut - Samara - Surgut - Novosibirsk route are operated twice per week (on Tuesdays and Fridays), flights on Novosibirsk - Surgut - Ufa - Surgut - Novosibirsk route – each Thursday. Starting from May 30, direct flights to the capital of the Amur region, Blagoveshchensk, will be operated on Saturdays (return flight - on Sundays). Flights on the route Novosibirsk - Mirniy – Novosibirsk will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The summer 2015 flight schedule includes new S7 Airlines routes to popular Russian resorts. Starting from April 5, the airline started operations on Novosibirsk - Sochi – Novosibirsk route with a frequency of up to five times per week. Starting from June 4, flights to the other Black Sea resort, Anapa, will be operated with a frequency of up to four times per week.
Stating from June 15, 2015, S7 Airlines launches a new direct weekly flight from Novosibirsk to Seoul, which is an important event, as direct air connection between the cities was absent since 2007. At the same time, during the summer period S7 Airlines will continue to operate flights from Novosibirsk to a number of popular international destinations such as Frankfurt, Prague, Burgas, Beijing, Urumqi, Almaty, Baku, Yerevan, Tashkent, Bishkek, Dushanbe, and others.
Passengers arriving to Novosibirsk will be able to take advantage of convenient connecting flights within the route network of S7 Airlines - to the CIS and Eastern Europe, Siberia and the Far East of Russia, as well as Southeast Asia.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, in turn, provides services for transfer passengers. In 2013, Terminal A was equipped with a transfer gallery for arriving transfer passengers. In case of absence of baggage through check-in, storage of baggage for transfer passengers is free of charge within 24 hours. For the convenience of transfer passengers the airport started the construction of connecting gallery between Terminal A (domestic flights) and Terminal B (international flights) which is almost finished.
All new flights will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft, with the exception of flights to Simferopol and Frankfurt, which will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2014 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.9mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 28.6 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.
