New Direct Flights from Novosibirsk to Ust-Kamenogorsk

Starting from May 27, 2015, SCAT airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, commences scheduled flight operations on Ust-Kamenogorsk – Novosibirsk – Ust-Kamenogorsk route. As in 2014, the airline will serve this route during the summer season.

 

Flights to the capital of the Eastern region of Kazakhstan will be operated three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays on Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.



 

Flight 824 departs from Novosibirsk at 12:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays and 12:10 on Sundays, Flight 823 departs from Ust-Kamenogorsk at 09:45. Local time applies.

 

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.In 2014 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.9mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 28.6 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled.

 

SCAT Airlines is one of the largest air companies in Kazakhstan. Established in 1997, the airline operates an extensive network, primarily domestic routes as well as within CIS and Central Asia. Annually, the company offers up to ten new destinations with the average passenger traffic increase by 40%. Today the company’s fleet mainly consists of Boeing 737/757/767 and Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft.
